Solution Outline

27DC approached the [id] host department with the need to shift their existing internal web server structure to a more reliable, secure and robust hosting solution.

With over 25 existing sites being managed by 27DC, we developed a process to migrate one site per day over a month. This ensured sites were migrated successfully with all email accounts, databases and language requirements sorted before switching the MX records (used for pointing domain names to the right server on the internet).

The approach and migration was successful. 27DC can now properly manage new hosting account installations effortlessly, set up email accounts and FTP access for current clients with a dedicated hosting solution based in our Sydney data centre.
